EGO Smart mouse can interact with all your digital media components like Desktop, Laptop, Smart-TV and Projector. It can work as a conventional wireless mouse and an ” Air mouse”. Confused with the term Air mouse?  Air mouse is a pointing device which doesn't require any table or floor to operate which means both 3D and 2D operations are possible. When Smartmouse is connected to your computer, the software installed automatically and displays icons of the most visited sites. Clicking on it, you can access your account without entering a password. One time password entry enough for this.

The connection is established with the Desktop or Laptops via a Bluetooth connection. After QR-code screen appearing, point the smartmouse camera at it and press the central button. Done! Your computer is recognized and the Bluetooth connection is successfully established.

Ego Smartmouse is based on a Linux OS, which is running on a 400 Mhz ARM9 microcontroller.   The inbuilt flash memory is of 4GB. A plethora of sensors are responsible for its 2D and 3D showdown. The array of sensor includes accelerometer, compass, gyroscope and an optical mouse sensor. It also integrates a VGA camera, one touch surface, vibration motor and LEDs. The Li-Po battery will store the juice and is rechargeable via micro-USB.  The low power consumption guarantees an intense and prolonged use.

The only thing I couldn’t understand in this mouse is the mystery within the name. Why developers gave the name as “EGO”? Some personal interests I guess, So don’t crack your head over that.
