Gionee launched the Dream D1, the company’s flagship smartphone in India last month, which we reviewed recently. Not the company has launched Gionee P1, an entry-level Android smartphone in India. It has a 3.5-inch (480 x 320 pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1GHz MediaTek MT6515M processor and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread). It has a 2-megapixel rear camera (but on the press render above it’s mentioned as 1.3MP) and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Gionee P1 comes in black color and is priced at an MRP of Rs. 4999. It comes with a free 4 GB SD card, 2 Phone cases and a screen protection film as an introductory offer.
